My Husband Needs a Haircut

I've never cut a guy's hair before, so I'm just wondering.. For those of you who have, is it very hard? Is it something I should attempt on my dear hubby's head?? I mean, if it doesn't turn out, we can just go to the hairdresser and she can fix it for the same amount of getting it cut in the first place. If it does turn out, we just saved ourselves 20 bucks! Here's a picture of Trav a couple weeks before our wedding when his hair was SUPER long.

kay so remember when I attempted to cut Dan's hair. It was all bad~ok really bad. It might be worth the 10 bucks to go get it done. No offense. Oh and if I don't have to babysit, Thursday night- hang out friday - leave saturday sounds good. I will let you know soon whether I have to babysit. :-)
Love yah - and I miss you too!

I'd try it. I've cut Jordan's hair a few times. A few times were and good and a few times were bad. One time was REALLY bad. Anyway- we've now decided that it's worth the $8.00 to go to the local barber.

But who knows- maybe you'll be great at it!

I'd say you get it cut this time, but go with him and watch how they do it - that way you'll know how to attempt it next time. :)

Becky, I would go for it. And like you said he can always get it done after if it is horrible. I am totally dutch and Jeff gets his mom to do his hair and I get my little sister to do mine. Save your money!

It will be a lot less stressful for both of you if you just give him thirty bucks and send him to the salon. Trust me.

I dunno Beck, if you're going pretty short I'd go to the hairdresser unless you're just trimming here and there. Do you have clippers? You should try find a cheap hairdresser who works from home then the cost is closer to ten bucks not twenty.
Or, just go for it. But, make sure you have the right equipment. Dull sissors don't cut it. (pun intended):)
